Firefox Adds Tab Previews To Windows Taskbar

Firefox adds tab previews to Windows taskbar

New feature allows users to quickly see which tabs are open in Firefox by hovering over the taskbar icon

Showcase extension brings convenient preview feature to Firefox

Mozilla has added a new tab preview feature to Firefox that allows users to quickly see which tabs are open in the browser by hovering over the taskbar icon. The feature is currently only available in Firefox for Windows, but Mozilla plans to bring it to other platforms in the future. To use the tab preview feature, simply hover over the Firefox icon in the taskbar. A small window will pop up showing you a list of your open tabs. You can then click on any tab to switch to it. The tab preview feature is a convenient way to quickly see which tabs are open in Firefox and to switch between them. It is especially useful for users who have multiple Firefox windows open at the same time.

If you want to try out the tab preview feature, you can download the Showcase extension from the Mozilla Add-ons website. Once you have installed the extension, restart Firefox and hover over the Firefox icon in the taskbar to see your open tabs.

Mozilla has been working on a number of new features for Firefox recently, including tab grouping, vertical tabs, and native profile management. These features are all designed to make Firefox more user-friendly and efficient.
