Hungary forward Barnabás Varga is in stable condition in hospital after suffering a fractured cheekbone in a mid-air collision during their Euro 2024 match against Scotland.

Varga was treated on the pitch behind a blanket curtain before being carried off on a stretcher.

The incident occurred in the second half of the match, which Hungary went on to win 2-1.
